Arcade Racer
Driftline
One-thumb drifting through neon canyons. Perfect runs are short, losses are quick, and the next attempt is always one tap away.
Independent mobile game studio
Rovebound Studio designs fast, tactile mobile experiences — the kind you open for one round on a commute and finish forty minutes later. Small team, sharp craft, no filler.
Pick-up-and-play, 60 FPS, Offline-first, No pay-to-win, Handcrafted levels, Tiny downloads, Player-first design — how we build at Rovebound Studio.
The studio
We started with one prototype, a shared spreadsheet of ideas, and a stubborn belief that phone games deserve the same care as anything on a console. That hasn't changed. Design, art, engineering and live ops all sit in the same room, which means a rough idea can be playable the same afternoon.
We build for real conditions — one hand, spotty signal, a two-minute window between other things. That constraint shapes everything from our control schemes to our download sizes.
Every mechanic gets prototyped and thrown away until the moment-to-moment feel is right. If it isn't fun in ten seconds, it doesn't ship.
No dark patterns, no manufactured frustration. Progression is earned, sessions end cleanly, and nothing nags you to come back.
We release in tight increments and read the data honestly. Live builds teach us more in a week than a roadmap does in a quarter.
Our games
We move between arcade, puzzle and strategy, but the bar stays the same: it has to feel good in the hand before it earns a release.
Arcade Racer
One-thumb drifting through neon canyons. Perfect runs are short, losses are quick, and the next attempt is always one tap away.
Puzzle
A tile-matching kingdom builder with a hand-tuned difficulty curve. Two hundred levels, none of them padding.
Idle Strategy
Route ships, balance cargo, and watch a tiny port grow. Designed to be checked in on, not chained to.
Roguelite
Run-based dungeon crawling built for portrait play. Every death rewrites the deck you start with.
Casual
Fold, launch and glide through hand-drawn skies. A gentle physics toy with a surprising skill ceiling.
Unannounced
Something new is on the whiteboard. We'll talk about it when it's actually fun to hold.
How we work
A deliberately short pipeline. Fewer handoffs means fewer places for an idea to lose its spark.
A playable build in days, not months. We test the core loop on a real phone before a single asset is finalised.
Art direction, economy and progression get built around what already feels good — never bolted on afterwards.
Limited regions, real players, honest metrics. We keep what works and cut what doesn't, however attached we are to it.
Post-launch is where a game finds its shape. Regular content, tight patches, and changes driven by how people actually play.
Whether you're a player with a question or a partner with a proposal, your message lands with the team directly — we read everything and reply to what we can.
